My name is Mkhatshwa Adelaide, I’m 27 years of age and I’m South African. I have my Bachelors degree in Education from the University of Pretoria, I also have a TESOL certificate which makes me a certified Teacher as well.
I started teaching at Elementary school in South Africa 2011.I always wanted to travel abroad so I had an opportunity to go to South Korea and Teach English as a foreign language to students. I started teaching in South Korea from 2012-2015 and I have been teaching students from kindergarten, elementary and middle school students . Teaching is so exciting and a lot of fun only if you love what you do, which I do. Every time I had to go to a class for a lesson I’m always full of energy and drive to make a difference to my students. Teaching in South Korea was an experience I will leave to remember all my life, the warmth and support from my Directors and the love from my students was amazing and that’s what motivated me all the time. Leaving in a foreign country for years and knowing I’ve made a difference while being there, is what kept me going and wanting to go to other countries and do the same.
I now have a position in a High School called Hang Zhou no:2 of Zhen Jiang Province in China. The students are great and so are my colleagues and am looking forward to continue to do my best the way I know how. I will serve my students with my time and help them to improve in this subject I am teaching them. I know my responsibilities as a Native teacher and I know how far I want to take my students, working with them won’t be a problem but a pleasure to all of us. On my free time I love to read books and do some research. I’m grateful for the opportunity I have in this school and promise to render my services. Thank you!!!!
